Micah Schwartzbach is a 2006 honors graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he received eight awards for having the highest grade in his class.  He graduated with highest honors from the University of California at Davis in 2003.  At UC Davis Mr. Schwartzbach received numerous academic awards, including the most prestigious award given by the Political Science Department.  Prior to joining his father's practice, he practiced criminal defense law with the Cooper Law Offices in Berkeley, California.  Mr. Schwartzbach has also interned at the Office of the Marin County Public Defender, in San Rafael, California.  His prior experience includes working as a law clerk for the California Appellate Project, as well as attorneys M. Gerald Schwartzbach and Michael Burt.

Mr. Schwartzbach continues to work with his father on all of the firm's cases including the historic 2008 acquittal of organ transplant surgeon Dr. Hootan Roozrokh.
